Splish Splash

Thursday - scheduled day off with a 6am flight to Melbourne, complicated by the absolute crap Jetstar service on the way home, my booked 5:30pm to arrive in Sydney at 6:50 eventually saw me actually land at 10:55, just inside the curfew.

Friday - Absolutely knackered after yesterday's effort (non running unfortunately) and also had it bucketing down outside.

Saturday - The downpour continued and while I was planning on West Met when it was time to get ready it was serious Noah style weather and I wimped out.

Sunday - Despite looming rain (again) it was off to the Willoughby Winder. For a twist we ran it in reverse which caused no end of confusion as those at the front of the pack tried to read maps in the dark in reverse order :). The rain was somewhat light or steady until we ran around the back of Northbridge when it bucketed down. We had a decent group together but at around 20km had to improvise a little to avoid the bush trails which would have been seriously waterlogged. Just snuck in under 30km

Was very pleased to hold the pace on the push home, the last few Sundays are already showing!

Perfect weather down here Dave. So, are you doing the 10k bridge run at Sydney?
