Interstate Runner

Up early and on the flying 'roo to Melbourne for work. Makes it hard to run in the morning so went out this evening. Quite a temperate climate for this time of the year and I ran from the hotel in the city centre to the Yarra, along the northern bank, crossed a bridge to join up with the Tan at Anderson Street. Then close to 2 full laps of the Tan, stopping a the 0km point 2nd time round and headed back on the south side of the Yarra and back into the city.

I wanted a good hit out tonight but was also focusing on form/style/rhythm/efficiency etc etc. While the Garmin dropped out a couple of times in the end it said 10.8 km in 49:06 which is around 4:32 min/km which was faster than initially planned! A great session to get back into things and another bonus of no pain from the various niggles post Canberra.

A harder rep session tomorrow night on the treadmill and then a nice recovery run on Friday to prepare for the 10km on Saturday that I will hopefully be able to run.
