After Wednesday's run the schedule called for a recovery run with some Strides for Thursday and then a recovery run for Friday. Still concerned about calves and went for a deep tissue massage on Wed afternoon. I reckon it was debatable as to what hurt the most, my calves or the masseurs thumbs :).
From there Thursday morning calves felt better but the LHS piriformis and hammie were tight so I opted out from rnning. Friday for some reason I was just tired in the morning and for a change could not get off work early to run in the evening so in a way an enforced taper for the 10km tomorrow.
